Fine dining in Central Belt
Set in beautifully landscaped gardens, Glenskirlie Restaurant is the fine dining restaurant at Glenskirlie House, near Banknock. The award-winning kitchen prepares everything fresh and in-house with Scottish ingredients taking pride of place on the menus. The dining room is a lavish affair and looks especially romantic in the evenings when the candles are lit and the room sparkles.
Scottish ingredients cooked with flair
As well as a market/lunch menu and a Sunday lunch menu, Glenskirlie House Restaurant offers a full a la carte. Fantastic Scottish ingredients such as Isle of Harris salmon and Gartmorn duck feature prominently.
The kitchen is as happy producing classic dishes, such as a seared wood pigeon breast with braised spring vegetables, as they are serving more adventurous choices, such as the confit chicken and pâté layered terrine with air-dried ham, a blue cheese mousse, bacon powder and celery gel.
Other dishes combine tradition and innovation. The roast saddle of venison with venison haggis, confit turnip, creamed potatoes, spinach and a whisky broth is a good example.
Naturally, the menus change according to the seasons and the produce available.
