Rating Pre theatre menu at Villa Toscana (Rating 3.0/5)
My husband and I went for a meal before a trip to the theatre. The pre-theatre menu offered a number of options for starters and main courses, not all of which were traditionally Italian. My husband is Italian and l think possibly we expected more of an Italian feel to the menu. The starters included pate, prawn cocktail, garlic bread, bruschetta and soup. The food was nice and the service was very good, until we finished our main course. A large table came in when we were eating and all of the staff attention seemed to go to the large table. We were not asked if we wanted desserts or coffee. We actually asked for coffee ourselves and then left and had a drink elsewhere before our concert. We would have preferred to stay but the lack of attention made that difficult.
