Una Storia Review

  • Rating This is never an Italian restaurant (Rating 1.8/5)
We went for lunch and were bitterly disappointed. First of all we were served a half glass of flat prosecco. I was looking forward to a nice traditional bowl of minestrone and what I got was quite possibly the worst minestrone ever with it tasting like a packet of tomato soup with a few potatoes and carrots in it, no sign of pasta, beans, cabbage that was it. My friends pate was awful it was a strange consistency and the only thing good about it that it was a tiny piece. We all looked at each other in horror. Main courses weren't much better pasta and salmon was dry and over cooked. All in all not a great experience. We did have a bit of friendly banter with the waiter and then our food was served to us by what looked like a member of kitchen staff who appeared rather scruffy. In my opinion this is never a proper Italian restaurant and I wont rush back.
