We visited No 88 for the 5pm lunch on a Friday and were the only patrons to enjoy a relaxing lunch. There was a warm welcome, a short but interesting menu and a complimentary glass of French white to accompany the food. We enjoyed two courses including mussels, salmon and chicken which were tasty and freshly prepared. You can round off the meal with a rich tasting coffee served in a vintage bone china cup. The service is friendly, informative and efficient. Lunch is great value for money in this small West End restaurant which deserves more support. Definitely recommended.
