    Fantastic food

First time we have visited and it was lovely. Good choice of tapas included in the 5pm deal. One person ordered swordfish and didn't like it but he had never tried it before so has nothing to compare it to. All other dishes were delicious. Kids menu was good too, they were very pleased. Waiter was really friendly even though he was rushed off his feet! We'll definitely be back for more.

Authentic Spanish tapas bar in West End

One of four Tinto Tapas Bars, this West End branch on Hyndland Street is a cosy, welcoming spot for a cup of coffee and churros or a tapas feast with friends. Many rate the Tinto Tapas Bars as among the most authentic Spanish restaurants in Glasgow. They certainly use Spanish ingredients such as butifarra Catalonian sausage and salt cod. The drinks menu of Spanish sherries, wines, brandies and beers also rings true.

Extensive selection of Spanish tapas

The a la carte menu at Tinto Tapas Bar has all the well-known tapas such as Spanish omelette, prawns in chilli and garlic plus chicken croquettes. Less familiar options include the oven-baked spiced rabbit; braised lamb shoulder cooked with dates and mojama – air-cured tuna loin served with an orange and rocket salad. A good choice of paellas for two is also available.

Dessert lovers may want to finish with an almond tart, chocolate fondue or crema Catalana. There is also an enticing selection of coffees and hot chocolates, many laced with brandy.
