We went for the £8.99 for two courses menu which is great if you are not a fussy eater as there is not much choice, 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts. Unfortunately one of us was a fussy eater and had to go for the a la carte menu which we found to be way overpriced with a starter and main course costing over £20. This somewhat marred our experience as the food on the £8.99 menu actually tasted better than the a la carte! Special mention to the starter of haggis which was delicious. Mains were chicken and salmon which were tasty but pretty standard. Another rip off was £4.95 for a kids meal then another £2.00 for ice cream, surely this should be included in the price of a kids meal? We were also told that the £8.99 menu included coffee but watch what coffee you ask for as I asked for a latte and was charged for it. Not a great experience, not a terrible one - I wouldn't rush back.
