About The Hyndland Fox
We were there for my son's graduation. Lovely menu, fantastic value and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Really nice atmosphere and decor too. Great find. If you have never been it's certainly worth a visit.
Great wee night
Loved our evening in the Hyndland Fox, service was very good, the food was delicious and we could bring our own bottle from a nearby shop. Staff were great.
Attractive cafe bistro in Glasgow’s Hyndland
Endearingly quirky, The Hyndland Fox is a neighbourhood cafe bar and bistro on Clarence Drive. It’s a relaxed, neighbourhood hangout where visitors can choose anything from a hand-roasted Chemex coffee to lobster and fizz. From the Sunday roast to fish pie night on Tuesdays, there are regular theme evenings. Open from breakfast to late, seven days a week, The Hyndland Fox also has large windows for watching the world go by while nursing a glass of juicy Malbec.
Enticing global dishes
From a breakfast of organic muesli to a supper of hake and chorizo stew, the menus at The Hyndland Fox cater for most preferences and all times of day. Scottish ingredients such as Shetland mussels, Stornoway black pudding and wild game sausages rub shoulders with coq au vin, buffalo mozzarella baguettes and filo parcels stuffed with goat’s cheese and sun blush tomatoes.
There are inventive, healthy salads and more indulgent desserts such as the salted caramel chocolate brownie. Many customers like to get sociable after work and share a board of seafood frites, Scottish charcuterie or a garlic and thyme baked Camembert with crusty bread and crisp vegetables.
