    Amazing lunch!

Wanted to try this place for a while. I finally did and it DID NOT disappoint. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were massive! The Cajun chicken burger was particularly good, as were the catfish bites. I've never seen such a big quarter chicken in my life! And the lunch deal is great value for money. Great music too - today's playlist was the soundtrack from the Coen Brothers classic - "O Brother Where Art Thou". Created a really cool, authentic atmosphere fitting with the style of food from The Great Depression era. My mum loved the music too and knew all the words to all of the old gospel favourites. Great experience all round and I would 100% recommend this place! Authentic

American diner in West End

Po’Boyz American Diner and Grill serves southern soul food inspired by New Orleans. The address may be Broomhill Shopping Centre but the food is rooted in the Cajun culinary traditions of the southern United States. The decor is simple with booth seating, a recycled wooden bar and a mural that tells the tale of how the po’boy sandwich came into being.

Classic dishes from southern States

Naturally, the po’boys submarine sandwiches are prominent on the menu at Po’Boyz American Diner and Grill. Filled with pulled pork, chicken, beef brisket, prawns or veggies, they are made from freshly baked ciabatta. The menu also offers a range of burgers, hot dogs and the chance to design your own pizza. Dixie battered catfish and chips, buffalo wings, ribs in BBQ sauce and slow cooked chicken jostle for attention with a Creole jambalaya and gumbo – the famous New Orleans stew.

If you have a sweet tooth then you will love the shakes which are flavoured with Bounty Bars, Kit Kats and Oreos, among others. Alternatively, tuck into a dessert like the deep-fried cheesecake and, of course, the apple pie and ice cream. The restaurant does not currently have a licence to serve alcohol, however please feel free to bring your own bottle (corkage fee £3).
