Saturday Lunch at Peters West End (Rating 3.2/5)
Peters showed it can also do hearty, traditional fare to high standards as well as fine dining. The lentil soup was beautifully thick and rich -the sort that used to have old men boast of their mothers' creations and how the spoon could stand up in it. One of us, though, was daunted by the prospect and settled for pakora -beautifilly crisp and light. This left room for the roast ham which was lip-smackingly enjoyable.
The atmosphere could have been improved by a few more fdiners in these difficult days for business. however the airy, beautiful ambience of Peters with its crisp linen compensated somewhat,
