  Excellent Sunday offer - 3 courses for under £16, plus "bring your own bottle" with NO corkage, plus I had redeemed 5pm loyalty points for a £10 voucher - meant that the 2 of us had an excellent meal (No.16 has to be the best of the low-to-medium price quality restaurants - I'd put it a couple of heads in front of Cafe Rogano), with an excellent Rioja (£7.50) for just over £27. It's true, you can't get better than that!

  Took my in-laws for lunch and it was fab as always. Amazing value too: £11 for 2 courses of delicious food and a glass of wine. Service was really friendly & super efficient. This could become a habit!

  Visited again yesterday for the umpteenth time over the last 9 years or so. As with some previous reviewers I can honestly say I have never been disappointed by a single starter, main or dessert in all that time. The regularly changing menus are imaginative, varied and flawlessly executed. The food is beautifully presented and served by very knowledgeable and efficient front of house staff who make things look effortless. They contribute greatly to the friendly, relaxed and informal atmosphere of the place which belies some serious culinary achievement. I’ve paid five times as much in restaurants for food which wasn’t half as good. The value for money is phenomenal and I fail to understand how I can even get a booking in this consistently brilliant wee restaurant. If you’re a foodie and find yourself in Glasgow do your tastebuds a favour and eat here. You will not regret it. Ever.
