This room and kitchen restaurant serves beautifully cooked, tasty and well presented food. The choice from the lunch menu is limited, so it's a great opportunity to try something different and you won't be disappointed.
We enjoyed the pan fried mackerel fillet with grapefruit, broad beans, and asparagus for a starter and the roast breast of chicken with tabbouleh, smoked aubergine purée, pomegranate molasses and crumbled feta for our main. You can also choose a dessert and a complimentary glass of wine on the 5pm menu.
Great value, great food and it's always busy at the weekends. Even Ron McKenna from the Herald couldn't find fault with this gem. Highly recommended.
