Just back from a brilliant Sunday Lunch at Number 16 with my wife and future daughter-in-law. The food, wine and service were superb and we thoroughly enjoyed them. I had perfectly cooked bream resting on a densely flavoured pea purée to start. Then a melt-in-the-mouth gressingham duck leg with lightly spiced bean cassoulet and mash as a main course, which was a taste sensation. All presented beautifully and with their signature freshly cooked bread rolls to eat with your wine after your food order was taken. It made for a really uplifting day.
