Rating Not the real deal (Rating 2.8/5)
Paid £39 for a four course champagne lunch for two people.... the real value being £91. Choices for starter were celery soup, ham hock terrine or mackerel fillet. Mains were spaghetti with pesto, coley fillet or pork belly. I have to say, if I was asked to pay £91 for these choices, I would have laughed. The desserts were good... fresh berry tart and sticky toffee pudding, as was the pre dessert sorbet. Surely they could have done better than two of the cheapest fish on the market. And pasta with pesto? Surely a joke. The service was excellent, but regardless of this, I felt ripped off paying £39, never mind having to pay £91 if I didn't have the voucher. Will definitely not be purchasing another voucher.
