Arrived early as I mixed up the times, table was ready so taken through to the dinning room, the chairs at the table were small armchairs which look good but not practical when eating a meal. Waitress asked what kind of water we wanted so said still, the way she said it sounded like it was part of the deal only to find it on the bill at the end. Menu really didn't have great selection 3 for starter and 3 for main including a vegetarian option for each. When you order the main you need to order sides as well as you don't get anything with the main. I ordered duck which was a small leg with green lentils had to pay £5 for potatoes and £5 for carrots. We moved through to the bar for our dessert as my sister in law came to join us for a coffee after our main, which was fine to start but then we were forgot about. Had to ask twice for dessert which my partner ordered the cheese selection from, when it arrived all I could do was laugh. A big plate with 3 very thin slices of cheese and 2 crackers and had to ask nearly 4 times for the bill. Not ideal.
