Grosvenor Cafe Review

  • Rating Great value dinner! (Rating 5/5)
First time here, my daughter & my partner opted for the steak & wine deal, whilst me the veggie chose the 3 small plates deal. Very good value, food was well-presented and very tasty, only criticism that we all agreed on, was the rocket, which was really limp! It wasn't off, and was completely edible, it had obviously just been in a warm kitchen out of the fridge for a while! The only other thing to mention (which my 19 year old daughter agreed with!) was that the music was slightly too loud! Quite a lot of people were dining, like us, and I felt I struggled a bit to hear what was being said, and that I myself were shouting to be heard! Aside from that, the choice of music was fab, mostly 80's & 90's, the restaurant is lovely inside, I especially liked the fact that it was spacious & you didn't feel hemmed in, like in so many other places.
