Restaurant fairly quiet for a bank holiday but waited 10/15 minutes for drinks, all three waitresses standing talking at the bar.
Waitress (only foreign one that served us) leaned over from the back of the booth behind my fiance's head and pointed at the empty glasses asking us to move them towards her. If she just walked round to the table and faced both customers there would be no problem rather than clear the table from the back of my partners head, just bizarre.
Also the deal stated that for £20 you could choose starter, main and the ice cream dessert was included. I chose a vegetarian pizza which consisted of five toppings. There were many pizzas with just two toppings but my partner went for the margarita and asked for sweetcorn and jalapeños and they tried to charge us for the two toppings which I thought was odd as he could have picked a pizza that had two toppings and it would have been included in the deal, like my pizza with five toppings, he could of left three toppings out of the five off and there would be no charge. It didn't make any sense hence why it was taken off the bill.
Finally, we had the bill and handed £20 over and was given wrong change with no apology (same waitress that climbed over the back of the booth).
Hadn't been in a long time and won't be rushing back. Not sure if its been taken over by new management but it wasn't a good experience. Simple things like asking if we would like pepper or if we'd like anymore drinks is standard practice when dining out but it didn't happen in Di Maggios West End and there are far better Italian restaurants in the west with much better customer service.
