Relaxed West End Scottish restaurant
Cottiers Restaurant Upstairs is located in a former church on Hyndland Street in the West End of Glasgow and provides a relaxing and unique dining experience. The venue is considered somewhat of a landmark as the building houses a theatre and bar as well as the restaurant. Child-friendly, the restaurant is located on the first floor of Cottiers and offers Scottish cuisine with the occasional modern twist.
Freshly sourced produce in elegant surroundings
The chefs at Cottiers carefully prepare their range of Scottish specialities using fresh ingredients to prepare dishes like the seared Islay scallops with a pork, bacon & Stornoway black pudding roulade and apple cider puree; slow roast Perthshire lamb shoulder with dauphinoise potato, minted peas and a light lamb jus; and the honey roast parsnip & pickled walnut tart tatin with a Dunsyre blue and mulled pear salad.
Diners can also choose to relax with a drink after their meal in the bar downstairs, with an impressive well-stocked bar with array of beers. In better weather visitors will often find the garden and courtyard at Cottiers a beautiful place to unwind and enjoy the sunshine.
West End accessibility, close to Byres Road
