About Cafe Andaluz West End

'Midweek evening'

Good choice of dishes on the deal menu, wine was reasonably priced and the atmosphere was great. Restaurant was busy even on a Tuesday night. We tried prawns, scallops, pork, beef and chicken - all delicious. Would definitely recommend.
'Always a delight'

Cafe Anduluz West End is always fantastic and I eat here regularly. The Spicy shredded beef in particular is not to be missed. The service and atmosphere in the West End restaurant is far better than in the city centre venue. Always popular and busy, but this never seems to detract from the service.

Authentic Spanish tapas restaurant in West End

The first of Glasgow’s two Cafe Andaluz tapas restaurants, the Cresswell Lane branch has long been a favourite eating out destination in the West End. Set out in a slightly more open plan fashion than its city centre counterpart, the original Cafe Andaluz looks like the interior of a stylish, white-washed hacienda.

Stained glass lamps, carved wooden furniture and alcoves filled with colourful ceramics all make the sunken dining room look like the sort of authentic Spanish restaurant that you remember from your holidays.

Wide choice of vegetarian, meat & seafood tapas

Glasgow took to the idea of tapas with a passion and Cafe Andaluz in the West End feeds that enthusiasm. Divided into vegetarian, meat and seafood sections plus a choice of three paellas, the tapas menu is ideal for a quick solo lunch, a lingering romantic meal or a party night with a group of friends.

The dishes range from simple plates of roasted padron peppers to more complex choices such as the Moroccan style salad which mixes roasted sweet potato, parsnip and chickpea with chopped parsley, coriander and a topping of tahini dressing. More meaty choices might include the Andalucian black pudding with onion and apple chutney or the confit duck leg. The crisp baby squid and spicy prawns are always a hit.
