Bibi's Review

  • Rating Rating 3.2/5
Having been to big sister Salsa a few times, I was really looking forward to visiting Bibi's and I have to say it was a real disappointment. The food was fine but the service and the ambience (or rather the lack of it) was a big let down. First of all, call me old fashioned, but I like to be shown to my table, not have it simply pointed out to me. Also, some blinds or curtains may be in order as the view across Dumbarton Road (much as I like Partick) left a lot to be desired. Finally, it might be an idea to place the empty bottles into the bottle bin rather than throw them. The loud crash every few minutes is certainly not conducive to relaxed dining. A shame, because (unlike Salsa) I wont be returning to see if these issues are addressed.
