We were seated at 7pm, and by 7.05pm had already been served our starters. 5 minutes between settling down and placing our order was a bit surprising - didnt give us much hope that anything had been made fresh! The starters of dolmades (fine, nothing to write home about) and humous with warm pitta were reasonable (how wrong can you go with humous and pita?). Our mains were then served by 7.15pm. My main of chicken souvlaki was fattier than expected (would be better using just chicken breast for this kind of dish) but a reasonable sized portion and had a tasty marinade. My friends main of beef staffado looked and smelled amazing, however the meat used was very fatty and chewy, not at all pleasant on the palate. The side of vegetables could have used some variation as opposed to just 2 small potatoes and some rice - even a little salad on the side would have been nice. All in all, the meal was fine, and at £11.95 for 2 courses was reasonable value for money. However, we did feel somewhat rushed, and in and out in 45 minutes for 2 courses, which might be good for a quick lunch when pushed for time, didn't feel like a nice leisurely Sunday evening meal. I probably wouldn't go back as there are so many alternative dining options in the area offering better food and quality of service.
