    A most pleasant experience!

Chose 279 Cafe Bistro because of its very good reviews and it did not disappoint! Run, I believe, by a brother and sister, the brother was a 'one man band' that evening, and the restaurant was full to capacity, yet he coped admirably. A most enjoyable experience ; have recommended to friends at work, two of whom share my opinion as they have eaten there also!

    Excellent meal

Me and my husband dined here for our anniversary and could not fault any part of the night, from the minute we stepped in the door until we left. The host was friendly, nothing was too much trouble, even making us something that wasnt on the menu, the food was perfect, if I could give a 10 rating I would! Thank you for a lovely night 279, we'll definitely come back.

Attention to detail

The kitchen at Partick’s 279 Cafe Bistro cooks each dish to order so that the food reaches the table at its best. The menu changes regularly but typical starters from the evening menu might be the smoked haddock fishcakes or the grilled halloumi on a tomato and black olive salad.

Popular main courses include the loin of cod wrapped in Parma ham; the chicken and Stornoway black pudding and, of course, the sirloin steak with sautéed potatoes and a pepper sauce. The ever changing cheesecake selection is always a hit.
