Great deal and decent food. Lovely spot for kids but mostly because it's good for adults too.
Cosy restaurant in Shawlands

Local & seasonal produce
The Waverley Tearooms emphasises that its menus use the finest local and seasonal produce where possible. It has a range of menus depending on when you’re dining.
The market menu features traditional options like pan seared chicken breast with chorizo and bean broth with herb mash potato and dressed rocket salad and sticky toffee pudding. A delicious Sunday roast menu has soup and pate starters with the traditional roast of the day for main.
The Waverley’s extensive a la carte menu covers lunch options like oven baked potatoes, sandwiches and melts with a grill section where you will find your steaks and burgers. If you like traditional dishes, you have plenty to chose from from the main course options such as steak pie, fish and chips and scampi.
