About Malaga Tapas
'I will definitely be back!'

This was my first time at Malaga, which was suggested by my friend who had been twice before an enjoyed it. Never mind the excellent value of the deal, the food is really lovely and the staff are great. I honestly felt as though I was in Spain! Very authentic feel. Would definitely recommend.

Welcoming Spanish restaurant in south side
Malaga Tapas is a family run Spanish restaurant on St. Andrews Road in the south side of Glasgow. With a warm, relaxed atmosphere the restaurant specialises in Iberian cuisine from the Andalusian region of Spain. Malaga Tapas is wheelchair accessible and also child-friendly, with highchairs and smaller portions available for younger diners.
A taste of Spain in Glasgow’s south side
Freshly made paella dishes are available at Malaga Tapas and are to be shared between at least two people. A typical seafood paella, paella de mariscos, is made with prawns, mussels, squid and white fish although there are other variations on the menu.
As the restaurant name suggests, most of the menu is dedicated to a wide range of Spanish tapas dishes. Conveniently organised into vegetarian, fish & seafood and meat sections, Malaga Tapas aims to cater to a variety of tastes. Popular items include the pinchos morunos (skewers of sizzling pork, marinated with cumin, garlic & red wine), the queso de cabra fundido (grilled goats cheese with pomegranate molasses & rocket), and the gambas al pil-pil (king prawns in roasted garlic olive oil & hot red chillies).
