The Italian Kitchen Review

  • Rating Birthday dinner (Rating 4.8/5)
Went for dinner on my birthday. Chose from the Set Menu B. Good selection of starters and main courses. My sister and I shared the antipasto and king prawn crostini to start - very good portion, prawns were beautiful and the quality of the meats was excellent. I had medallions of fillet steak for my main - again it was excellent, perfectly cooked and a very good portion. My sister has the veal saltbocca which was superb. Nice bottle of red wine, reasonably priced. The service was attentive but not intrusive, the restaurant was busy so the place had a nice buzz about it. Very pleased with the meal, have planned to go to another favourite restaurant but so glad I went to the Italian Kitchen instead.
