Easy to book from my phone via 5pm and as it turns out, advisable to book, Soho has a friendly vibe and was positively buzzing. Our waiters were terrific and attended to our every whim with good humour, despite being incredibly under pressure during a busy service. Loved the arrancini balls and dip with salad and fresh basil dressing. Soho is a pizzeria so we both opted for pizza Siciliana. That's the one topped with olives, capers & fresh chillies. I love thin crusty pizzas, but sadly the dough was very tough and 'short' and a challenge to cut.
I wish the menu had mentioned the Siciliana came with a veritable mountain of chunky cut fresh red chillies; probably two whole medium chillies complete with seeds. It was hot hot hot lol! The bowls of hot steaming pasta coming out of the kitchen look delicious! We ended the meal with a free dram of Glengoyne malt whisky and very lovely it was too nicely smooth and easy to drink.
We didn't stay on for dessert so can't comment on that. I'd happily go back and maybe try the pasta next time.
Would recommend giving Soho a try, especially if you love 70's music up high and the lights right down low.
