About Seoul

Korean restaurant in city centre

Located in a first floor space on Miller Street, Seoul Restaurant is an atmospheric Korean restaurant. With a beamed and roped ceiling plus a bar that looks a little like a shrine, Seoul transports diners from Glasgow city centre to a traditional restaurant in South Korea’s capital. It is popular with Korean ex-pats looking for a taste of home as well as Glasgow’s aficionados of Asian food.

Korean and pan-Asian dishes

Seoul Restaurant specialises in cook-at-the-table barbeque dishes such as such as pork belly and thin cut beef ribs. Other Korean specialities include the savoury pancakes, kimchi platter and bibimbap – a sort of all-in-one rice dish.

The menu also offers lots of options which will be familiar to fans of Japanese cuisine. From tempura king prawn to teriyaki tofu and chicken gyoza and miso-grilled aubergine, all the classics are there. Naturally, there are several noodle dishes so diners can enjoy beef yaki udon, bowls of seafood udon and stir-fried Korean glass noodles. A good selection of sushi and sashimi options are also available.

City centre transport links and attractions

Seoul Restaurant is on Miller Street between Ingram Street and Argyle Street. It is around a five minute walk to both Central and Queen Street train stations and there are many bus routes and taxi ranks nearby. There is a car park on Glassford Street. The Gallery of Modern Art, Royal Concert Hall and surrounding shops are all a draw.
