Mediterraneo Review

  • Rating Value for money (Rating 3.2/5)
Arrived at this restaurant for an online booking we had made on a Saturday night. Lots of staff around the entrance but all were deep in conversation when we arrived and we were ignored as they carried on their conversation. Eventually we had to interrupt them to say we had a reservation but we were not made to feel very welcome at all. Chose food from the chefs menu but unfortunately pulled pork wasn't available. Daughter then chose gnocchi but waitress came back and told us gnocci was off the menu too. Daughter finally chose something from the A la carte menu. Restaurant was fairly busy and service was slow and seemed to have different people attending to us whole evening with no continuity of staff making it a bit impersonal. Food was tasty and it did represent value for money but staff could have been a bit warmer and to have two items not available on the chefs menu at 8.15, seemed a little disorganised.
