I have no complaints about the food or the service which in general was up to the high standard I have received from this restaurant in the past. The reason I could only give a score of 3 was that the restaurant seemed to have no record of my booking. Luckily there was a a table free. However when I said I had booked through 5pm and we would like to start with our free glass of wine as per the booking, that seemed to cause all sorts of problems. I had printed my booking but had forgotten to bring it with me to the restaurant. I did eventually get my free glass of wine but only after insisting that was what I had booked and despite the manager trying to tell me that the 5pm deal was not available after 7 pm (not true). So my advice is, if you book through 5pm and you want to make sure you get your special offer, make sure you take a print of your booking with you. Otherwise you might be made to feel that you are trying to trick them out of a glass of wine!
