Ingram Wynd Review

  • Rating First Visit, Looking Forward to the Next. (Rating 4.8/5)
This is a really great restaurant, smart decor but with a nice homely, comfortable feel so you could happily sit for hours as we did. We were there for Mother's Day but when the staff realised we were booked in for the normal lunch menu instead of the more expensive mother's day one, they didn't make a fuss and immediately gave us the menu we'd booked for. In fact the staff were excellent throughout our visit, super friendly and efficient. The selection of dishes was excellent with a good balance of both meat and fish/seafood dishes. Our food was terrific particularly my black bream and my mum adored her haggis starter with whiskey sauce. The portions were hearty but not so big that we required a lie down afterwards! I'm so glad I took my mum there as we both had such a good time and hope to return. Told friends about it too, great place that deserves to do well.
