Hutchesons Brasserie Review

  • Rating Thought it would be faultless (Rating 3.8/5)
The restaurant is stunning, the refurbishment beautiful. The food was lovely, but not any better than other less expensive restaurants. Apart from Neil, it was difficult to raise a smile from any of the other staff. There were two instances that really put a dampner on our day, the first being having to pay an extra £2.95 for an extra 2 slices of bread, in 30 years of wining and dining in Glasgow, this is a first. The second is being asked when paying the bill by card if we would like to add a gratuity! This is at the discretion of the customer! We did leave a hefty tip in cash, as we planned to, again a first, being asked, not good customer service and uncomfortable for the client.
