The staff and Guy himself made us very welcome. The 5pm buffet lunch is excellent value at £10.00 which includes a glass of the house wine. The menu is very restricted but the food is beautifully cooked and presented. The tomato & red pepper soup was rich and flavoursome, the buffet was light and delicate with smoked salmon blinis, pasta, vegetables and ham. There was a choice of 2 main courses of bream with teriyaki sauce and rice which was expertly cooked and a mushroom vol-au- vent and new potatoes which was praised by my lunch guest.
