About DogHouse Merchant City

BrewDog barbecue and beer

Specialising in American styles of barbecue and craft beers, DogHouse Merchant City is on Hutcheson Street in Glasgow city centre. With exposed brick walls, prominent piping and reclaimed wood, as well as judicious use of wooden pallets, it has a consciously rough-hewn feel. All the better to focus attention on the food and the wide range of BrewDog and guest beers. An outdoor seating area is popular on warmer days. A well stocked BottleDog shop looks after customers’ off sales requirements.

Smoked and barbecued meat

From Lexington pulled pork to Texas brisket and St Louis ribs, American style barbecue is at the meaty heart of DogHouse Merchant City. The meats are sold by the 1/4lb, 1/2lb and in various sharing platter combos. Naturally, there is a selection of burgers and wings with two sauces: hot sauce and honey glaze or blue cheese.
There is a vegan BBQ seitan burger. Other non-carnivorous choices like mac ‘n’ cheese or the smoked beets, goat’s cheese and seeds dish can be found under the bites and snacks section of the menu. Desserts like the salted caramel and Oreo shake will fill any remaining spaces.
