Cossachok Restaurant Review

  • Rating A unique experience of balkan style delights! (Rating 4.8/5)
I booked Cossachok for 6 people as part of a birthday celebration with my family and it was fantastic. The decor is authentic and colourful whilst looking upmarket. None of us had tried this style of food before but the menu was extremely varied in all courses and the drinks are excellently priced. I had the borscht soup and it was excellent. The mains at the table were a mixture of the stroganoff and the shashlik meats which were perfectly cooked . For dessert the honey cake is a must! There was also a slight mix up when the mains were brought out and 2 people had to wait slightly longer but we were given a free round of drinks including large wines! (We wouldnt even have complained as it was only 5 mins later everyone had their dish!) Lastly to finish we ordered a mixture of Vodka shots to top off the authentic experience. All in it was great service, cheap for what we got and fantastic food. I'll be back in the near future!
