Bacchus Review

  • Rating Good value Christmas deal! (Rating 3.2/5)
3 courses for £17 (including a glass of prosecco) is hard to beat for a Christmas menu. The food was nothing to write home about, although the parsnip soup was tasty, and the turkey main was fine. The caramel and malteser cheesecake, however, was amazing. Not as sickly as expected and absolutely delicious. The staff were totally inattentive, other than when bringing food or clearing plates. We were never offered the opportunity to order additional drinks and trying to get their attention to request the bill was a mammoth task. It seemed to be just the bar staff and friends (who were a bit raucous it must be said) aside from us in the bar which probably didn't help. Despite the slight negatives, we all still had a great night and it was definitely good value for money.
