Rating AND THEN THERE WERE TWO!! (Rating 2.6/5)
Once we had managed to find our way in, which was no mean feat, Arta is very big with impressive décor. When I jokingly said to the waiter we obviously didn't need to book a table he said that at lunchtime they used upstairs and there were other tables being occupied. In fact there was one table with three people and as they were nearly finished their meal that left the two of us and the waiter; he was happy to talk as I think he was glad of the company!! We had the 6 tapas and bottle of house wine option - all was fine though nothing out of the ordinary. When I asked if it was always this quiet I was told that people never arrive before 5pm. Therefore, I think Arta should concentrate on being an evening venue. It's such a shame as it really is an impressive place but certainly not for those looking for lunch.
