Lovely room gives a feeling of comfort and unostentatious luxury. Service impeccable and unstuffy. Nice to be offered more bread. Ambiance good enough for me not to mind background music (middle of the road jazz). Menu majors on things fishy. We ate from the pre-theatre menu (5pm deal includes a glass of house wine), and all enjoyed both the food and the wine. Coffee on the pricey side, but was accompanied by a good selection of petits fours. The more extensive a la carte looked interesting for (I hope) another visit when next I'm in Glasgow.
