My mother and I booked to visit the restaurant on the pre-theatre deal which was excellent value, especially as this included a glass of house wine. We were seated immediately and each course was brought to the table promptly with little waiting between dishes. We were even presented with an unexpected plate of petits fours with the coffees - a lovely touch. My only criticism is that it's a fairly small place, the tables are very close together and there was no music so I felt very self-conscious as we seemed to be the only people talking and the tables around us were privy to our every word. The staff, who couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, also stood around in groups just to the side of us and I felt a little like we were under surveillance.
Overall though, we had a lovely time and the food was superb. The portion sizes were perfect and everything was cooked to perfection. I would definitely eat here again.
