Bought the voucher as a Mother's day present. Took my mum yesterday & was immediately annoyed as we were told we had to sit in amongst the very busy bar rather in the restaurant where we wished to sit as it was a lovely day & much more nicer setting. We were asked wether we wanted tea or coffee as soon as we sat down & then if we wanted prosecco right away aswell. About 5 mins later a waiter came over with our plates/cutlery & then our sandwiches/cakes but still no tea or prosecco. As the bar was very busy there were more people coming in for afternoon tea & were being seated in the restaurant area that we were told we couldnt sit in!! I then asked why we couldnt go in as there were others being allowed so they said they would move us. At this point we still had no drinks. As we were moving the drinks were being brought over so they had to bring them through to us in the other area. My mum was given her tea but my coffee was taken away as it had spilled onto the saucer & I had to wait for a good few minutes before it was brought back & another few minutes before the prosecco came! The food consisted off 8 small finger sandwiches & 2 slivers of cho cheesecake,2 slivers of lemon cheesecake, 2 slivers of bakewell tart & 3 scones. There was also cream, jam & butter for the scones. Although the cakes were nice we would rather have had a few more sandwiches & maybe not as much cakes. I really dont think the voucher was value for money at £2. Very disappointed all in all.
