We ate from the A La Carte Menu and found that the portion size was small, starters and desserts were reasonably priced. Main courses were pretty small and expensive, although this was dependant on what you ordered. We had the pork and the sea bass. Both dishes nicely presented and of good quality, but lacking in substance. Other dishes we saw being served such as burgers and fish and chips looked much more substantial, probably order one of them next time.
A table beside us walked out as the service was slow, they said they had waited an hour for their main course. Service for us was also quite slow but just borderline for a complaint. Also note that parking is free, but only for 3 hours. If you are pre concert dining for the SECC you will have to pay £5, still one pound cheaper than the SECC!
