Family run for more than twenty-five years, Di Maggio’s is a firm favourite in and around Glasgow. The East Kilbride branch is a large restaurant with 250 seats, popular with families who appreciate the varied menu, indoor and outdoor children’s play areas and private car park. In the summer months the al fresco dining area is the perfect place to catch fleeting rays of sun whilst eating an indulgent ice cream sundae. Dining in Di Maggio’s is a relaxed affair, although the wide-ranging menu might occasion some soul-searching. Choices include bruschetta, deep-fried mozzarella cubes, chicken wings, pizzas, pastas and decadent deserts like banana and rum pancakes. You’d be forgiven for thinking this all sounds more American than Italian, but Di Maggio’s cuisine straddles the Atlantic. Their motto is ‘our family serving your family since 1983’.
