Tiki Bar & Kitsch Inn Review

  • Rating Yuuuum! (Rating 4.4/5)
The food is delicious! We were served some complimentary Thai prawn crackers. I started with the salt and pepper squid which was spot on. Cooked to perfection with a dip that went really well with it. My fiancé had the fish cakes which were good but had a odd consistency. They were nice though but I think I won best starter with the squid. For the main I had the beef curry with extra spice cooked into the meal (as offered by the waitress). If you like it hot then go for this. It was absolutely delicious - the meat fell apart it was that tender and the flavour was amazing. My fiancé had the chicken with the chilli jam - also delicious. There wasn't much between the meals at all. Portion size was generous so there was no need for sweets. For drinks we tried some of the cocktails. They were all very good but a maybe a wee bit overpriced. Didn't really stop us from trying a few though ;) Service was good. The staff were friendly and attentive. The place seems to be a magnet for hen dos though. So if you're after a quiet intimate meal this isn't perhaps the best place. Still, the food is fantastic so try it at least once.
