  I had decided not to go back to the Pipers Tryst after previous meals but on a busy Saturday before Christmas my options were limited. Sadly my initial impression was correctThe starters were very good however our main course of turkey & trimmings was very very average. We didnt bother with dessert but had coffee which was undrinkable. On the plus side the service was very good with helpful and friendly sta

  As usual a fantastic culinary experience. The staff are so attentive in an unobstrusive way. Nothing is too much trouble. Fantastic experience for us all. You now have three new customers!

  When we initially booked last week there was a confusion over the booking which got sorted out and we were offered vouchers to compensate. We re-booked for the next week. The menu was interesting with traditional meals such as fish and chips, mince and tatties and haggis. Food was nice and service was pleasant.
