The Pipers' Tryst Review

  • Rating Rating 4.4/5
We have often passed Pipers' Tryst and wondered what it was like. Having tried it at last, we shall certainly come back. We dined pre-concert on the Celtic Connections Dine-Around offer, so it was a bit quiet when we arrived. Ambience was intimate and comfortable and this was maintained as it became busier. Staff were attentive but not overbearing. The food was tasty and well-presented; only small point was that the fish could have been warmer. We had booked 3 courses but could not manage the pudding. However we ordered coffee and this was included in the price, which was very fair.
