The Pipers' Tryst Review

  • Rating Sharing Platter at The Pipers' Tryst (Rating 4.8/5)
Visited to take up a Big Deal promotion for a sharing platter, and we weren't disappointed! Admittedly, we were a little uncertain that our appetites would be satisfied as the platter consisted of - little black pudding slices sandwiched between 2 potato scone rounds, 1 mini macaroni cheese, 2 haggis 'tweeds', 2 slices of rustic bread with butter, 2 smoked salmon 'slices', a balsamic salad with pine nuts, and 6 mini oatcakes with 2 wedges of cheese and some onion chutney. We were pleasantly surprised, though, as we didn't leave hungry and were impressed with the friendliness of the staff and service. Would like to go back.
