We arrived at 5 o'clock for an early dinner and had the restaurant all to ourselves. The staff made us feel welcome and gave us first class service. We enjoyed the lovely canapé with our glass of delicious bubbly. The food was heavenly. My husband had the scallops with Parma ham which came with a supplement but were well worth it. We both had the venison, which was the most tender, juicy venison I have ever tasted. The accompaniments were equally delicious. We shared the cappuccino creme brûlée which was perfect. All in all a marvellous meal.
