Sophisticated restaurant in Glasgow centre
The Western Club Restaurant has set new heights of dining excellence since it opened in November 2014. Located in a prime city centre site, The Western Club Restaurant has arguably Glasgow’s most stunning dining room overlooking the iconic Royal Exchange Square. Professional and unobtrusive service along with top quality cuisine bring an unrivalled experience for all diners.
Modern British and European dishes
As well as a lunch and early dinner market menu, The Western Club Restaurant offers a full a la carte. Local sourcing is to the fore in dishes such as the sirloin of Buccleuch beef or the loin of Ayrshire pork with black pudding, apple purée and Madeira jus.
Some options, like the devilled livers or sticky toffee pudding, are classic British comfort food. Others, likes the seared scallops with saffron, fennel and stem ginger or the salmon flavoured with chilli, lemongrass and Oriental broth, take their inspiration from more exotic destinations.
In short, the menus are based on tried and tested British and European classics with the occasional contemporary flourish. At the same time, a significant proportion of the dishes borrow flavours from further afield.
Glasgow city centre attractions

There is pay car parking on Mitchell Street and at Glassford Street. Nearby attractions include City Halls, the Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and the Gallery of Modern Art.
