Went here with a friend for the high tea, but was disappointed. Having always loved this place, it was a shame that this time the service was slow, and the bread was completely stale. My friend ordered the fish which was absolutely full of bones, and the tartare sauce which she eventually had to ask for was bizarre...and nothing like what I have had here in the past. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt as I was back a few days later for afternoon tea. It was better that the high tea experience, but not as nice as it usually is. The bread didn't seem as fresh as usual, and we only had two sandwich fillings instead of the usual four. I probably will go back eventually, but going to try the west end one in case all the experienced staff have been sent there.
