Scottish food and gins
The Juniper Scottish Gin Bar is at Cranachan on the second floor of Princes Square on Glasgow’s Buchanan Street. Open on Friday and Saturday nights, the venue has a neat, contemporary take on Scottish design. Antler chandeliers and walls decorated by Glasgow’s famous Timorous Beasties design studio confidently set the stage for the modern Scottish cuisine served in The Juniper Scottish Gin Bar.
Fantastic Scottish produce
With more than 60 Scottish gins to choose from, The Juniper Scottish Gin Bar certainly lives up to its name. In addition to the drinks list, which includes many innovative cocktails, there is an inviting food menu with a distinct Scottish flavour.
Cullen skink soup; haggis and black pudding fritters and prime Scottish rib-eye steak underline Scotland’s reputation for the finest natural produce. Not that the menu is all about Caledonian flavours. Options such as the pan-fried, dukka-crusted goat’s cheese with an orange and rocket salad or the risotto of the day demonstrate the chefs’ versatility.
