  Yes it is an old railway hotel with a big makeover. The staff know their stuff and the food was well presented and fresh.

  We had the £14.95 for 2 courses and a glass of wine. My husband had steak therefore had to pay supplement, but the steak was not huge but, well-cooked and presented well. He chose the cheese for dessert and this was a large portion of cheeses and crackers enough for 2-3 people.

  From the minute we walked through the door, all the staff made us feel welcome and valued. Great choice of food on menu & even with the £5 supplement for fillet steak, this was still fantastic value for money. Glass of wine included in price too so what's not to like? We went for the 2 course option @ £14.95 with the £5 supplement. One of the best steaks I've tasted so well worth the extra. Delightful staff & will definitely be back asap!
