We love this place! We dined on the 40% off a la carte menu on Friday night. Free glass of fizz included, then scallops, soup, haggis balls and smoked salmon platter were all gorgeous. Could have done with some bread/oatcakes with the salmon. We then all had fillet steaks for main courses and they tasted divine.
A few of them were a little over cooked, but we decided it wasn't worth sending back as they still tasted good. Dessert of chocolate indulgence was indeed an indulgence - absolutely wonderful - not too sweet or sickly - perfectly rich chocolate! Service was good, but waiter didn't know what a few of the things on the menu were (sauces or what whisky they had behind the bar etc)...
